Welcome to Taumata Rottweilers. Our kennel is located in the city of Invercargill which is in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand and is owned by Bill Patterson and Wiki Te Tau.
Bill is the only person to date that has obtained the title of NZ Obedience Champion with two Rottweilers. His dogs have also obtained many working titles of schutzhund and IPO. Including SchH3. In 2015 Bill competed with his dog Brando in the Rottweilers world championship show in Nis Serbia.
Our goal is to breed beautiful and stable Rottweilers with good nerves and excellent working drives .All our dogs have had the appropriate health tests. Bill is the Official temperament assessor for the Central Rottweiler Club and as such all our breeding dogs are temperament tested. These Rottweilers are as comfortable on the training ground or as at home as companions. As you will see from our pedigrees we have sourced our dogs from some of the best dogs available and have imported dogs and semen from Europe. We have imported many dogs over the years and that has helped us win on the sports field as well as in the conformation ring. We have our progeny from Europe to Asia and Australia.
We go to great lengths to provide our clients with the best puppy that is suitable for their home environment. We ensure that we match the needs of the new owner with the right puppy, so whether you require a home companion, show or sport dog there will be a puppy that suits your requirements
We have a modern kennel facility and our dogs live on a ten acre farm which includes facilities for advanced training. We also offer temperament assessment and training programs for all breeds of dogs. All our puppies a temperament tested before going to their new homes.

BISS Taumata Hananui Multi V1
Mau is a large powerful male of excellent type.
He has a beautiful masculine head. He has excellent bone and muscle strength. A dark eye and mouth pigmentation, he also has excellent coat colour with very good angulations. Mau has been consistently placed 1st for his in show class's and in 2011 won best in specialty show under Polish judge Waldermar Mrowiec. on the 8th March 2014 he won his class and best head under Louise Russel {Aust.), and won his class the following day under Lidija Mihajlovik.(Serbia)
His Sire Justin was placed V 1 at the 1999 world sieger show working class. Justin was awarded multi V1 select on numerous occasions. He was also awarded multi high in schutzhund trial. Justin also received his USRC. gold merit award for his performances in the show and working arena.

Two year old bitch,medium size and good substance. Harmonious. Beautiful feminine head clean, large well set well carried ears. Mid to dark almond shaped eyes. Mostly dark pigment, strong neck. Very good topline. Very well laid shoulder very good upper arm. very good bone, pasterns a little soft toes should be tighter. Very good underline with a little tuck up, Excellent hind angulation, correct tail well carried. Rich mahogany markings must be a bit better defined all round. Clean coming and going, purposeful movement, ground covering stride. Topline sufficient on the move, Graded V1 and awarded Best In Speciality Show.
Vodka is a complete Rottweiler she is just as happy working stock on the Farm or doing IPO training on the sleeve or as well as competing in the show ring. She is a very good guard for our property but is also very trustworthy around people and especially children. A fine example of the ultimate Rottweiler.Pedigree for Young CH. Serbia. Orlik comes to our kennel from our friend James Brady in Australia . He has been shown in the Intermediate Class at the 2016 Central Rottweiler Club where he was placed V2 in his class. . He is a Large size male with medium dark eyes and very good mouth pigmentation. He has very good movement and is an all round balanced dog. He has very outgoing temperament with excellent drives. His critique from Sergio Pizzorno (Uruguay) Dog is very typical, excellent type, excellent size and substance, beautiful head and expression with a good skull and scalp, good neck, excellent under length with very good movement, excellent temperament.
Orlick's Sire is three times World Champion Astor Vom Junipera who I have met twice at the Kennel of Von Der Alten Festung in Croatia. His Dam is a very typey female with excellent pedigree Zlatnic Emma.( Aust.)
