Bluejigg Kennels - NZ Registered Breeders of STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER

Bluejigg Kennels are a Dogs NZ Accredited Breeder of fine Staffordshire Bull Terriers.  With very careful and selective breeding and a fantastic environment we raise exceptionally healthy, strong, athletic and confident pups ready for their new families.

We were both brought up with dogs as family pets and the benefits from having a family pet are huge.  On leaving school, Tim worked at Molesworth station as a shepherd.  The bond with dogs and humans along with the ability to mould them to become an extension of my hands and mind has stuck with me all my life and I always wanted to be able to share my love of dogs with people at a later stage.  

We moved from Auckland with our first American Bulldog 19yrs ago to a lifestyle block and started our journey.  After much consideration, we settled on English Staffordshire Bull Terriers as our dog of choice.  For us, the breed shines above all others as a family pet.  The loyalty and affection they hold for their family members, we believe, is the most crucial element in their makeup to be the best family dog.  With indepth research to expand our lines, we import our males or semen from the healthiest and professional breeders in Australia.  When choosing puppies we look for their attentiveness, sound structure and spirit.  When bringing puppies through as a group, they’re well socialised with dogs, farm animals and people.  This gives them a well rounded upbringing and shines through when raising their puppies as the mum’s have a huge input with puppies from birth.

Our puppies are Dogs NZ registered, vet checked, wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and super confident. They come with a complimentary 4kg bag of Royal Canin puppy food, food bowl & pack, 6wks free pet insurance and full lifetime support and advice encircling both you as well as the littermate owners to support and extend our Bluejigg family for years to come.  

Our puppies have been bred from the very best of temperaments and we encourage families to visit our kennels, meet our dogs and ourselves to create a lifelong bond with their new fur baby.  We don’t sell our pups for breeding, they join loving families only. 

Litters Expecting

Boss is our lovable goofball who is always up for walks, pats and cuddles.  He loves swimming and will always jump in with both feet, whether it be in the trough, creek, stream or puddle, in any weather at all.

He's our cuddly teddy bear and will smooze in past the others for a cuddle and pat before crouching to zigzag back and entice a game of tag me if you can.  His loving eyes and easy way about him makes all those that meet him unable to help but fall in love with him..

Salty is our flower sniffer.. he has the softest nature and easy going personality that makes for a one-of-a-kind special friend.  

He loves going to the cafe where he gets so many compliments for his good nature and amazing structure and will just sit for pats.  He also enjoys going for runs and loves finding sticks that he can bring back to a collection point. but he's happy to leave them if need be.

Coming from Australia, his heritage is from Royalfire and he has the same lineage as our impressive big boy "Van the Man".  Both boys are solid in build with a well balanced content stance.

Salt gets on well with all dogs and is a pleasure to take out and about or to simply chill and relax at home.

Evie's our "Loving Leopard".. she's smooth, sleek, can run like the wind, loves pack walks and equally loves cuddles.  Although she’s an active staffy, she also loves regularly getting out and about on regular walks and makes the perfect café pooch as she settles well and enjoys others approaching her to say “Hello”.

Evie has both our stunning boys genes as her Granddad's - Siredoutlaw Like a Boss and her Dad's - Puplife Blue Salty Dog.  We’ve recently inseminated her with semen from Infinitude SirSaxxon and he’s true to standard, has a terrific head, happy nature and together we're expecting stunning puppies both in looks and personality.
