Hawera Dog Training Association

We meet at the Hawera Dog Training grounds (by Normanby Hall & the Domain, on Ketemarae Road), Normanby. We currently have a committee of 11 members and though we are a small club we hold several successful events throughout the year. In addition to our Club activities, Hawera Dog Training Association regularly runs classes including members of the public. Beginners Obedience lesson courses are held regularly throughout the year on Tuesday evenings. In addition an Agility Beginners class is held starting in October or November on Wednesday evenings. Upcoming Shows and Events

Our club holds a number of ribbon trials each year. Our first Agility Champ show of the year is held in Feb. In March the TET Masters show. We have a Jumpers show in May, and our Indoor Agility show is in June/July at the Hawera Showgrounds TSB Arena. Our Obedience Champ Show is held towards the end of November
