The Newfoundland Club

The Newfoundland Club Inc was formed in 1981, and in 2006 celebrated its 25th Anniversary. As the Club covers the whole of the North Island, we have 3 Branches which hold activities for it's local members, being; Auckland, Midlanz and Wellington. Each year we meet in a central location for our "All Newf Weekend" where we hold various events with BBQ's, games for everyone and of course, sometimes, a little bit of branch rivalry! Most years it is held in Rotorua. If you know of a Newfoundland in need of a new home, then please contact our rehouse service which operates in each area. Club Activities

The branches are extremely busy between October and April with events being held most weekends. We hold ribbon parades, carting competitions and water trials 2 - 3 times per year in each location. On top of the competitions, we have social events which can range from Walks at beautiful locations, around the country and of course we can be seen at Xmas parades and School Galas giving rides to the little kids and sometimes BIG kids. We offer training days for water and carting events also. So if you own a newf - come and join us at one of our events.
