Obedience: Ribbon Trial, Test A, Test B, Scent Work: - Excellent Panel - All Classes - CANI-qAbout Me
My goal when judging is for competitors and their dogs to have fun and enjoy competing, and in doing so have the chance to show their skills/relationship in the ring.I totally enjoy my judging appointments both Obedience and Scent Work especially seeing the newbies come along & are excited, nervous but so enjoy entering their chosen dog sport.
As diverse as the people are who participate in Obedience & Scent Work so too are the dogs, and seeing a wide variety of dog breeds taking part is fantastic.
A keen participant /competitor at Obedience Competitions & Scent Work Trials - having travelled and competed throughout New Zealand, from Dunedin to Whangarei.
One of my proudest moments was when Tara (my Soft Coated Wheaten X Tibetan Terrier) won Special Beginners at the Nationals in Auckland at the Trusts Stadium in Henderson, under UK Judge Mary Reay.
These days I am embracing the challenges of training my lovely Bebo (Bearded Collie X Bouvier) - Princess Tehya in Scent Work and the new kid on the block - Kola (Earl of Spencer) who already competing in Scent Work at 18 months old and hopefully will enter both Obedience in the near future.
