About Me

In 1981 I began my journey in the dog club world with the family labrador doing obedience.  My mum purchased my first dog for me being my first GSP.  During my first years I became an obedience instructor and joined the committee.  From their I started in the confirmation path in 1987 and have been on many committee's in all roles President, Secretary, Treasurer in Allbreeds and Breed Specialist Clubs.  I have been breeding GSP's since 1990 and had some lovely mentors along the way, from which I was encouraged to go down the judging path, having spent many years running and being apart of Show Training Classes which is beneficial to both myself and participants.  I have bred multi Champions in NZ and Australia.  I have also bred NZ's first Grand Champion and the First SPL GR Champion of which this dog has now become the first NZ import to gain his UK Show Champion title and at some of the most prestige shows.  I have bred/co-own the top GSP in Australia who is also setting records with his amount of Best of Group wins and Best in Shows! I have breed many Specialty Best in Show winners under world re-known specialists and international judges.  But firstly, my dogs that I have bred are still producing great all round hunting dogs, so not losing their natural abilities. Love the opportunity to judge all breeds and so enjoy seeing and learning more about the new groups as I progress forward.
