About Me

My involvement in agility stretches back to 1995.

In late 1997 I aquired a 4-time rehomed Border Collie named Gem. Despite her "unhappy childhood" Gem went on to qualify as Agility Champion and ADX Gold. She excelled in NALA's Agility Link series, having been ranked in the top 10 for the year for five consecutive years (including 1st in 2005 and 2nd in 2002).

I started running another BC (Trigger) in 2006, and her younger sister (Wave) in 2007.

Apart from competing, I was a long time club instructor and committee member, ex-Zone 1 NALA rep, set up and compiled the NZ agility records and served 2 years on the NZKC Agility Committee.
